Innovation Competition – Hortifruit 2025

He HortiFruit 2025 Innovation Competition recognizes the most outstanding projects in the agri-food sector that are committed to sustainability, digitalization, and technological improvement. If your company develops innovative solutions for the production, marketing, or processing of fruit and vegetables, this is your opportunity to stand out at the international HortiFruit fair.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

All national and international exhibitors at HortiFruit 2025 are eligible to participate, submitting an innovative proposal related to their activities within the agri-food sector, specifically:
Production or marketing of fruits and vegetables.
Agricultural technology and applied innovation.
Digitalization of agro-industrial processes.
New inputs, tools or materials.
Solutions in sustainability, traceability or efficiency.
Each company may submit one or more proposals, provided that each represents a different innovation.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

Fill out the form.
Attach the following documentation:

· Title and detailed description of the project.
· Innovation rationale: What makes it new? What does it improve or contribute?
· Benefits for the fruit and vegetable sector.
· Visual material: images, video, demo, etc. (mandatory).
· Additional technical or supporting documentation (optional).

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Projects must be submitted by November 1, 2025, by email to prensa@ifepa.es.

2. They will be evaluated before the fair by a jury of experts appointed by HortiFruit.

3. The jury will select the finalist projects according to criteria of innovation, applicability and
sectoral relevance.

FINALISTS AND AWARD CEREMONY

The finalist projects will be evaluated by the Jury on-site on November 20, 2025, the first day of the fair, and the deliberations and decisions will be made that same day.
